GF Soups

Today we tried Kings gluten free lobster bisque. It was a great creamy heaven in my mouth. I also recommend their  tomato soup it is great. The Mom's chicken soup from Whole foods is also GF and fab.  Fairway does not have a lot of GF  options for soup. Kings has great GF soups. I really want GF New England Clam chowder!!! I can get it at legal Seafood, but no grocery stores make it:(

whole foods brand vs. canyon bake house vs. udies vs. glutino
—  Hey!!! Today let’s talk about different GF breads.  These are all GF but there not all good. First lets talk about whole foods  brand of  GF bread.  It tastes pretty good especially toasted, I give it a solid thumbs up. Udies white bread is kind of dry sometimes, it doesn’t feel like bread.   Next we have Canyon bake house!  There bread is my fav of all I like the taste and the look  of the multi grain, it smells good too and in my opinion the white bread is great but you can only get it at some places.  Canyon bake house makes a few kinds of bread all have been great.  Udies and whole foods bread taste similar you need to toast them in order to make them soft but it breaks easily and gets too crumbly.  Glutino has a interesting taste I cant put my finger on it, but kind of taste like potato bread. I hate when people say if you toast GF bread it tastes better, bread should just taste good.
I hope you find this handy

“Gluten free food needs to taste good! We are going to review local eateries in NJ and NYC as to how they handle GF needs as well as compare and taste test GF foods and recipes.”

Hi my name is Conall G,  I  have Celiac Disease. I go to restaurants a lot and Gluten Free  food often sucks or places don’t understand what it means to ask for a GF meal and they make me sick. Even a crumb of wheat can make me throw up often in the parking lot after I leave a place.  Some places  don’t understand. It is sad:(  I want to help kids and parents like me  to try places that rock at GF cooking and I want to let people know that  there is good GF food out there . There are great eateries  that I have been too that we should spread the word on and other places  lie and say that their food is GF and I have end up getting sick and it stinks.  I want to make you aware of where those places are too. You can talk here too and make GLUTEN FREE recommendations also. I am also Dyslexic so my spelling may not always be perfect.
Also if your Mom, Dad or Aunt or Grandma has made something GF that is amazing please share it. I am going to have guest bloggers too, like my cousin Cara who is also GF and some other friends.
Let’s start by talking bread, the kind you buy in the store tomorrow…..
See ya!!!
